especially effective for beginners, as well as intermediate users who want to
sharpen their skills, work more efficiently and learn Excel 2010’s new functions
and interface.
Program History: Introduced in 2012,
this program was established to aid participants in understanding the basics, as
well as the powerful capabilities of Microsoft Excel 2010. This program
currently utilizes Microsoft Excel 2010, but the skills learned can be applied
to Microsoft Excel 2007 and earlier versions of Microsoft Excel.
Program Description: This program is
designed for anyone who wants to learn the basic and advanced skills of
Microsoft Excel 2010. Participants will learn how to create, edit, format, and
print Microsoft Office Excel 2010 worksheets. Enhanced functions for calculating
data using functions and formulas, sorting and filtering data, using Pivot
Tables and Pivot Charts for analyzing data, and customizing workbooks is also
included in this program. This is an instructor lead course utilizing hands-on
activities, collaborative learning and lecture to provide participants with a
well-rounded program. During the course each participant will be provided the
use of an individual computer pre-loaded with the Microsoft Excel 2010 software.
The skills learned can be applied to Microsoft Excel 2007 and earlier versions
of Microsoft Excel. A comprehensive manual is included with this program.
