Volunteering at the Center for Space Education
The Astronauts Memorial Foundation is looking for volunteers to help out with events and programs at The Center for Space Education (Kennedy Space Center, FL).
Our upcoming events are all-hands on deck! We are looking for volunteers to help with: Annual Career and Networking Event, Space Port Area Conference for Educators, and more.
This opportunity is available to high school students, college/university students, and adults. Adults who apply should be educators or space-industry workers at KSC, or those who have formerly served in these roles.

(1) Space Port Area Conference for Educators
Building Event Swag Bags (week before event)
Registration (training: week before event, on-site: 06/21/23, 06/22/23, or 06/23/23)
Ushering (training: week before event, on-site: 06/21/23, 06/22/23, or 06/23/23)
Room Turnover (training: week before event, on-site: 06/21/23, 06/22/23, or 06/23/23)
Badge Builder (1-2 weeks before event)
(2) Career and Networking Event
Building Event Swag Bags (60-minutes, week before event)
Registration (training: week before event, on-site: 04/01/23 or 04/02/23)
Ushering (training: week before event, on-site: 04/01/23 or 04/02/23)
Room Turnover (training: week before event, on-site: 04/01/23 or 04/02/23)
Badge Builder (1-2 weeks before event)
Opportunity descriptions:
Building Event Swag Bags: Event attendees will receive swag bags at event registration or at the event closing. Swag (pens, lanyards, and other products will be placed in bags for the attendees.
Registration: Greet event attendees and check them in.
Ushering: Usher attendees to their breakout sessions and KSC tours.
Room Turnover (training: week before event, on-site: 06/21/23, 06/22/23, or 06/23/23): Help with room setup, breakdown, and turnover.
Badge Builder: Help us create attendee badges for the conference!
